STEVE RH shows

After falling in love with House music back in 1987 I took over the local nightspot in town in 89/90 as resident DJ at the age of 16 where I introduced the local crowd to underground House & Acid House alongside the venues usual favourites every Friday & Saturday night.
After moving back to London in 1990 I started playing London’s pirate radio scene eventually moving up to the big stations. In 93 I made my fist EP which was signed to a leading Hardcore label and scored an anthem on my first release. My music even made it onto Kiss FM in 94 and my voice was used on there for an advert for the huge club night ‘Peach’ at Camden Palace in 98.

Having played on many stations over the years including Eruption FM, Kool FM & Housefreaks Radio I went on to be Director for Dance Music at 102.8 Chorley FM in the early 2000’s after helping them to acquire an FM licence.

In more recent years I’ve enjoyed topping Dance charts with some House music releases as ‘Dirty Cake’ a project run with a friend after we were signed to Awesome 3’s record label ‘WAI’.

I’m excited be now be part of Beach Radio where I’ll be serving up some of the best new House & Deep House with a few retrospective gems and focusing on tracks with good rhythm, good vocals, melodic content with great beats & Basslines
