KEEF LUV

KEEF LUV shows

Keef Luv’s first love was music, his taste covering most genres. He’s a classically trained flautist, accomplished self-taught bassist and a keen synth player. Mr Luv is also a distinguished producer of Chillout (Antarctica Chill Zone), Melodic House and Techno (Keef Luv) and he remixes too. You can find him sprawled all over the internet, and probably in record shops from his earlier exploits in the world of Nu Metal (Cosmic Joker and TwelvePointHead).

Keef’s music career kicked-off fresh from college in the mid nineties touring Europe in his band TwelvePointHead supporting such great acts as Fun Luvin Criminals, The Alabama 3, The Almighty, Motorhead, Hawkwind, Jethro Tull and Rose Tattoo. Keef after the termination of TPH turned his attention back to one of his first loves, the synth. He embarked on a solo project called Antarctica Chill Zone producing 2 minimalist Chillout Albums, Chillax in the Deep Freeze and Believe in Pink Act 1. Production is certainly where he shines and ever since, his journey has been widespread. As a producer he has releases with Tanzgemeinschaft, Korecraft Records, Cubism and Electronic Tree with more and more remixes emerging.

Keef first appeared on the Club Scene on the Spanish Costa del Sol in the summer of 2010 playing bass for a Paradise Musik event at Cafe del Mar in Tarifa, here the interest in DJing was reborn. In 2011, Keef Luv was let-loose as a DJ playing at Paradise Musik events up and down the South of Spain, ever since, it’s been a journey upwards and onwards…

2014 saw the start for Keef Luv as a DJ on BeachGrooves Radio in Marbella. BeachGrooves’s Kate Gooding was out-and-about in Marbella one night and saw Mr Luv playing, she was suitably impressed to ask him along to be a guest DJ on her Friday Night Show. Soon after, Keef was enlisted for 5 nights a week and this is where his Deeep Luv Show was born.

2019 – Present day… Keef parted company with BeachGrooves and joined The One Ibiza. His show Deeep Luv rapidly gaining momentum and gathering a wide audience in the radio world. Sadly, the owner of The One died and the station closed in July of 2022.
