In the late ’90s and early 2000s, I was a fixture in the local DC nightlife scene, spinning records at bars and clubs. My DJ sets, aptly titled “WaltyMix,” immersed audiences in pulsating rhythms of House music. But life took an unexpected turn — I veered into an IT career, and my passion for music lay dormant.

Then, in 2020, the COVID lockdown acted as a catalyst, reigniting the flame within me. I dusted off my cherished vinyl collection, reacquainted myself with Ableton Live and Pioneer DJ rekordbox, and upgraded my gear. And now, WaltyMix sets are back, streaming on MixCloud, Twitch, and YouTube.
