DJ Rhythm X,
Founder of Confusion Revisited.
My DJ Life started way back in the Mid 80s when Acid House was on everybody’s lips.
I was taught to mix by the Now Legend thay call Ron Wells AKA Jack Smooth Jungle & Techno Pioneer.
Our Bread and butter places to rave where, Monday nights at Spectrum, Enter the Dragon, Shoom,DNA,Confusions,Feel real Rhythm Doc & Evil olive. Klink street, lea bridge road.
Kinky Gerlinky the late & Great Viv Westwoods parties. to name but a few.
My First Pirate radio station Was in Kilburn Crystal Radio.back in the 80s. Both Me & Jack Smooth.
I have played in numerous clubs in London and the surrounding counties Plus a few gigs abroad.
The Astoria Tottenham court Rd, The African center Covent Garden, Turnmills, Hedonism Popler With Derek B,
Grays Grayin rd. The list goes on?
me & jack Smooth also played at the first Blast off with then the not so well known Carl Cox i think it was his first big outside rave.
We both ran a club called The Start light in Parade st but it fell through due to our lack of promoting experience and lack of funds.
I had to 12” releases first one was Bubbles on Wax factory then the 3rd Hustle Cross section records
I’g getting back into Producing again so watch this space.
Then I took a long break due to having 2 kids around 2000 and concentrating on my Fire Brigade career.
But the bug bit me again about 10 years ago so the SLs got mothballed and I went Digital no more record boxes Whoop Whoop.
I started playing for Juice radio which was an FM station but i broadcasted it to Fb at the same time which was fun.
Then I got a knock on the door from a Station manager from FMR House Chicago. Then things got rocking.
After about 2 years I became their biggest hitter on that station. My numbers went through the roof.
I was the first DJ & only DJ on that station to get a number 1 on the mixcloud charts.
My chart success in the last 2 plus years is 47 Number 1s with over 7 million minutes listened by 8 & a half thousand followers and still growing.
