Col Lawton – Short Bio

Using his pocket money to buy vinyl’s and tapes, Col was drawn to house music in the early 2000s. Col loves to create music whether it is producing and looking for a particular sound that evokes those strong emotions or whether it is just creating music that brings new people into his life. 

Col loves to create music whether it is producing and looking for a particular sound that evokes those strong emotions or whether it is just creating music that brings new people into his life who love the same music as he does. His current musical inspirations include Scott Diaz, Sebb Junior, Manuel Costela, Miguel Migs and The Journey Men.

As a producer, Col is currently in the studio producing his sound, working hard developing his deep/funky/jazzy style.

Building on successful music signings to Salted Music, Atjazz Record Company, Nurvous, UM Records, Moiss Music, Delve Deeper Recordings, Crooks & Villains and many more Biggest success to date has been ‘Harry’s Beat’ out on Moiss Music which marched to number 5 in the deep house traxsource chart.

Col has just recently signed to his dream label Col is proud to be part of Salted Music rubbing shoulders with the deep house legend Miguel Migs.

He has amassed a solid successful repertoire of music with established labels building contacts across the globe. Col is currently working with some of the biggest names within the industry in many different capacities. Music that matters is his blueprint.
