Barry Stockwell – Bio

Barry Stockwell’s love of soul and disco music started in the late 70’s, but it was the British jazz funk and disco scene in the 80’s and early 90’s house that really influence his style today, playing mostly soulful, jazz, funk & disco house. Barry lives in Colchester, Essex in the UK and was involved in the Essex soul scene from an early age, playing local clubs and venues before business took over his life and music had to take a back seat. His love of music has never waned though, and he has been releasing top sets for over five years now on MixCloud, DJing for fun and relaxation. With a little more time on his hands recently, we may even see him back on the decks in the near future.
